Ok first off i do like the Flavorah root beer. I do play with it in two recipes. So i am very familiar with. So i was looking forward to see if they got it right and none of the full on root taste of the root beer. So lets begin
Vaped at 35w
When i smelled it i got a bubblegum scent. So was it there when i vaped it, yes it was. Now being the profile of a root beer bubblegum i am all over it. It literally goes from bubblegum to root beer then a little bite of cinnamon. The longer the inhale the more of a cinnamon bite you get. Is it a bad thing? Not at all. But too long of a inhale that cinnamon gets me to where i need a little cough. The way the each profile comes in that order is perfect. Just a really good vape experience. Easy 5 stars.
60w
Well here comes the cinnamon. The root beer has taking a back seat and is extremely light on this and those root style notes are there. The bubblegum is now light and it runs right into a atomic fireball. Towards the back end its like getting into the center of the atomic fireball. Right at the last of the inhale i do get another set of off notes on a normal inhale. So i had to change it up and do shorter vape style because the backend note. Which dissipated on a short vape. But was still there. And note to everyone, if you chain vape this liquid at this wattage it is a definite no go. It does irritate your throat. Because of the off notes i get on a normal inhale its going to be a 2.5 stars because the taste gets muddled and its not pleasant at all. On short quick vapes i would put it at a 3.5 stars
As its more tolerable
70w
This was as high i was going on the third level. The cinnamon is extremely strong and the off note at the back end is also strong. I did try it higher and the worse it got. Just not vapable at this wattage for me. No rating on this level.
Overall the best wattage on this one is 30 40w wasn’t a fan any higher then this because the off notes on this one. As i tend to to be a long inhale vapor i just couldn’t do it at anything over 45w. I think if they kept this a bubblegum root beer it would have been better to me. But taste is subjective. Me personally i really don’t want to vape a atomic fireball. I could barely eat them as a kid and i cant vape this to that profile. For me, the only profile i like on this is the lower wattage where it presents a really good root beer bubblegum with that little bite at the end. But i really Don’t think cinnamon should ever be in a combination with root beer. And honestly i think if you want to use red hot cinnamon it would have been better to be a bubblegum cherry coke that had slight cinnamon note at low wattage into a full blown dr pepper. Just my opinion. So overall for me this is a 3.5 stars. The low wattage profile saved this from being a bust. Unlike the first 3 you could chain vape them. This one, you cannot.
I did try this on my Steam Crave Supreme v3 on the dual coil deck running 24g kanthal round wire 5 wraps at .25ohm. And it stayed the same. Nothing over 45w. That cinnamon is too much for me above it.
