Strawberry Enhancer 3%
Recommended 2 5. Yeah, as I recall That Guy saying, this is a strawberry. At 3% it tastes like a chuppa chops lolly more than anything, artificial strawberry, slightly sweet, although it’s got quite a thick, syrupy mouthfeel. Think this would be decent on its own around 5, 6% to be fair. As far an an enhancer goes, I’m a bit sceptical. Any strawberry can be added to another as an enhancer in small quantities. It’s basically all recipe building is. You get a main conc note and enhance it with others. But anyway, next project will be using this with a few other strawbs to see what it does to them.

As i was giving a sample i tested this above the recommended 2% in a mix. So i came in at 3%. So i let it sit for two weeks and got into it. Now what i got was a very artificial strawberry. It was on par with the taste of strawberry ripe TFA. I just couldn’t get through the artificial tasting of it. Just the flavor profile of it on its own wasn’t for me. Not a fan of the strawberry notes present in it.
But as its states it is a enhancer so i did a mix of one i have been working on with and without the enhancer. So how did it work in my mix at 2%. Unfortunately it did bring some of that artificial(not in a good way on my tongue) taste. As i got to the back end it became more present. It did more muddling then it did enhancing. With this being said strawberries need layering. There are so many good strawberries out there like Strawberry Juicy FA Shisha Strawberry INW Sweet Strawberry TFA CAP can get you their without a artificial taste this does bring. Do you need a enhancer no not really. Better alternatives to make a solid strawberry base as pointed out. It may not be for me but it me be for you. Always remember taste is subjective.
