SHORTFILL, MIDFILL OR LONGFILL?
Need to know what the difference between Shortfills, Midfills and Longfills are?
We’ll explain it to you below…
SHORTFILLS
Shortfills most often come in two sizes, 60mls or 120mls and are designed to be enjoyed as a 3mg e-liquid.
60ml shortfills (50ml shortfills)
Sometimes referred to as 50ml shortfills, these are 60ml bottles that contain 50mls of nicotine free e-liquid.
Although there are only 50mls of liquid within the bottle, there is enough flavouring for 60mls of e-liquid. This is because shortfills are designed to have one 10ml 18mg nicotine shot added which will leave you with a total of 60mls of 3mg e-liquid.
120ml shortfills (100ml shortfills)
Often referred to as 100ml shortfills, these are very similar to the 60mls but twice as big. A 120ml bottle that contains 100mls of 0mg e-liquid. Although there are only 100mls of e-liquid within the bottle, there is enough flavouring for 120mls of liquid. This is because shortfills are designed to have two 10ml 18mg nicotine shot added which will leave you with a total of 120mls of 3mg e-liquid.
At the time of writing most shortfill e-liquids are made to a 70VG/30PG ratio which is best suited to DTL/DL (Direct To Lung/Direct Lung) vaping in sub-ohm tanks or rebuildable atomisers. It is fast becoming more common to find shortfills in a 65VG/35PG or even 50VG/50PG mix ratio, this is so shortfill e-liquids are more compatible with pod and MTL (Mouth To Lung) devices as these require thinner liquids than sub-ohm vape devices.
Be sure to check what the ratio of the liquid you are buying is to ensure it will work effectively in your vape device, using an e-liquid that is not best suited to your device can lead to unwanted leaking, burning coils or an unpleasant vaping experience.

MIDFILLS
Midfills are the least common of the e-liquid options we are discussing here. If a shortfill leaves a smaller amount of space in the bottle and a longfill leaves most of the bottle empty, a Midfill is in the middle of the two. Our Midfill e-liquids are a 60ml bottle containing 40mls of e-liquid and are designed to be enjoyed as 6mg.
As with shortfills, the 60ml Midfill bottle isn’t full but it does contain enough flavouring for 60mls of e-liquid. Our Midfills are designed for you to add two 10ml 18mg nic shots for a total of 60mls of 6mg e-liquid. We have designed our Midfills to be a 50VG 50PG (but some flavours may vary). This is because the majority of 6mg vapers are using MTL (Mouth To Lung) or Pod devices and 50VG 50PG e-liquids are best suited for those types of devices.
Be sure to check what the ratio of the liquid you are buying is to ensure it will work effectively in your vape device, using an e-liquid that is not best suited to your device can lead to unwanted leaking, burning coils or an unpleasant vaping experience.

LONGFILLS
Longfills are becoming more common at an alarming rate, this is likely due to the rise in popularity of higher-strength nic salt e-liquids and Longfills being a far better value option to them. Our Longfills can be enjoyed in strengths up to 12mg. Longfills are commonly available in 60ml bottles but you can find longfill options in up to 500ml bottles and can sometimes be referred to as DIY kits or Bottle Shots.
Our Longfill e-liquid options are available in 60ml bottles that contain 20mls of 0mg e-liquid and are designed to be enjoyed at 12mg in strength by adding four 10ml 18mg nic shots but can be made into lower strengths if desired. Though there is only 20mls of e-liquid within our 60ml longfill bottles, they contain enough flavouring for the full 60mls. It is not recommended to vape higher strength e-liquids in sub-ohm devices so our Longfills are designed to be enjoyed as a 50VG 50PG e-liquid best suited to MTL (Mouth To Lung) or Pod vaping.
You can manipulate a Longfill by using less nic shots and adding your choice of base mix (VG and/or PG). So if you wanted a 3mg high VG e-liquid but can only find the flavour you want as a Longfill you could add one 10ml 18mg nic shotand fill the rest of the bottle with VG.
