Nichrome (Ni) is a type of material that is used in many applications and devices that require a heating element, such as hairdryers and toasters and is also suitable for you to use in your rebuildable vaping atomisers. Nichrome is made up of nickel and chromium (can sometimes include iron) and comes in a variety of ‘grades’. Ni80 is 80% nickel and 20%. Ni80 behaves very similar to kanthal (kanthal is probably the most used vaping wire) but has lower resistance and heats up faster meaning it has a faster ramp-up time which can help produce more vapour per hit.
